About me

I'm Athina and I'm a Sport and Exercise Psychologist (in training) based in London.

My interest in sport psychology started from a young age, when I was competing as a long-distance runner, and I realized the importance of developing a healthy mindset to optimize performance and sport experience.

I work with athletes, exercisers, coaches, and teams to help them achieve their full potential whilst enjoying their sport and exercise journey. I strongly believe that self-awareness and wellbeing are key to performance and that when you enjoy your sport, you will also perform well. My aim is to support you to identify your needs and strengths and use these to develop in and out of sport.

I have over 7 years of experience working with a range of individuals, groups and teams of different levels, ages and needs in mental health, exercise, and sport settings. Some of the sports I have worked with include athletics, tennis, squash, weightlifting, CrossFit, and football. I am also currently working at Fulham FC Foundation as a Mental Wellbeing Practitioner, developing and delivering mental health programmes using sport and physical activity.

As a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), I abide by their ethics and standards for good practice and conduct.
